"Shirts Aren't Necessary" Time Lapse Drawing

BEFORE I drew in "Procreate" I sketched it out on paper first. Then I took a photo of it and uploaded it to the app. For me, I like doing it this way, I find I have more control over it than if I sketched in the app first.

In the first initial sketch, I was thinking long hair with soft eyes. I used the reference photo here from SenshiStock on Deviant Art (Click here) She is awesome! Any ways, my next sketch is where I looked for more body, eyes, and hair reference, including hand because I felt something was totally off in the beginning 😋

How I kept my spirits up when drawing a male figure because I usually do not like to do it since their "naked" bodies are kind of more complex than a woman, I watch ROSSDRAWS lol that is how I got the inspiration for color dodging too. I wanted to keep it black and white, but I then thought "what the hell!" and did a color dodge on my man, turned out pretty cool. Although, I had to really restrain myself to try and not color dodge all over his body teehee.
