For those that don't know what "matcha" is, it's Japanese for powdered green tea.
Bitter? Yes. When making this #ice-cream, however, we'll add some sugar love 💓
Let's Get Started!!
Ingredients:
2 (13.5oz) Cans of Coconut Milk (Full-Fat, Please)
1 Tsp of Vanilla
1 Tbls of Sake
2-4 Tsp of Matcha (Because #matcha is bitter, add a little at a time to taste)
1/4 Cup Agave
***Freeze your freezer bowl at least overnight (I had mine in for two days) at a temp 0 degrees F or below.
1. Combine all ingredients together and mix until there are no lumps. Then chill ingredients for about 1 hour or until cold. (I chilled it overnight)
TIP: To help the matcha powder mix evenly, put in a separate bowl and add the milk mixture a little at a time, then add it back to the mix. If it does clump on you, either keep mixing or strain.
2. Place the mixture into the ice-cream maker, and churn for 25-30 min until it thickens.
TIP: If you want it firmer, put in the freezer for a couple of hours in an air-tight container.

P.S. Save your store-bought ice cream containers!!
